Make Breast Cancer History Gets a Pink Bus

GRENDA joins Make Breast Cancer History in the fight against breast cancer with the generous donation of The Pink Bus. It’s set to brighten the streets of Melbourne throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

With the highly anticipated Make Breast Cancer History Gala Evening about to kick off on Saturday 10th October, GRENDA CORPORATION has hopped onboard to help raise awareness and boost funding for Melbourne-based charity organisation, Make Breast Cancer History.

The Pink Bus hits the streets of Melbourne from September 29th. As well as acting as a shuttle on the night of Make Breast Cancer History Gala Evening, The Pink Bus will also be available for charter by the public throughout October. Each time The Pink Bus is chartered during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), GRENDA will donate 10% of the proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Breast Cancer Network Australia.

Decked out with eye-catching pink signage (designed pro bono by Davidson Branding and printing/installation at heavily discounted rate by Sign A Rama, Dandenong) The Pink Bus is set to add some flare to Melbourne’s streets. And it doesn’t stop there. To ensure Make Breast Cancer History generates a big response from the community, GRENDA has gone the extra mile by turning to McConnell Seats Australia to create custom-made pink seat covers. Thanks to McConnell Seats and fabric supplier, Reatex’s generous donation, The Pink Bus is as pink on the inside as it is on the outside!

"Breast cancer has or will touch most of us in some way or another. When GRENDA was approached to sponsor this event, we felt we had a unique opportunity to not only support, but to highlight the gala evening in an eye-catching way – the Pink Bus. We are proud to be involved with Make Breast Cancer History, and hope our small contribution can help make a difference.” Scott Grenda. Managing Director, Grenda Corporation.

About Make Breast Cancer History Gala Evening

All funds raised will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), which offers information, treatment and support to breast cancer sufferers and their friends and family, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) – the national organisation for research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
