With over 600 buses in the fleet, Grenda Transit Management can guarantee a bus for any school charter with 24 hours prior notice. Some of the articulated buses have the capacity to carry 112 primary schools students, effectively placing three classes in one bus. It is Grenda’s size, experience and personnel that ensure consistency and professionalism.

Recent events have placed a greater emphasis on seat belted vehicles. Grenda has a number of these buses available, including the specialised three-to-a-seat bus. This vehicle allows three seat belted primary school children to sit in two adult seats.

When applicable Grenda can offer schools its specialist route design service. Austrics is a world-class software package, which allows Grenda to work through the school’s entire service to develop the most cost effective solution available. Austrics is the software that was successfully used to plan and operate the buses at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Grenda also offers Schools a Total Transport Solution - this means that any contracted route bus to the school is dedicated to that school for charter at a special rate. During school operating hours the bus is available to that school at a special per kilometre rate. The end result is a solution to all the school's transport requirements at a very effective cost.
