ABOUT MOORABBIN TRANSIT:

Moorabbin Transit was formed in 1988 when Ken Grenda purchased four local Bus Companies that operated in this local area. Grenda's acquired Southland Bus Services, Camden Bus Company, Hampton Red and Hampton Green. One year later he bought Sandringham Bus Lines.

The original timetables and services from these companies were rationalised and altered significantly to form the basis of today’s Moorabbin Transit services.

This amalgamation of five companies into one led to a very diverse bus fleet. The company moved into the old Alsatian Paints factory site in Philip Street Cheltenham in 1990. Since then Grenda’s have invested millions of dollars and transformed the Depot into the modern and comfortable facility that it is today.
