ISO 9001:2000 Accreditation

May 2008 saw another significant achievement for Grenda Transit Management (GTM). After an extensive business evaluation process spanning five years, Grenda Transit has achieved Quality Accreditation ISO 9001:2000 across all its operations. This international standard recognises and validates GTM’S dedication to customer satisfaction, which has always been central to the company’s philosophy and way of working.
In order to perfect its Quality Management system and achieve certification, GTM underwent a stringent evaluation process. This included a pre-audit assessment, a review of documentation, and clearance of non-conformances. ISO 9001 is accepted worldwide as the international standard that endorses a company’s internal Quality Management and confirms that its products and services satisfy customers’ quality requirements.
Grenda Transit Management is one of a select few Australian bus and coach operators to achieve this accreditation. The management system adopted by Grenda encompasses the quality management system requirements of ISO 9001:2000. As part of this commitment, Grenda will provide service to its customers, which meets or exceeds their requirements in terms of value, performance, responsiveness, reliability and safety. Grenda will work to offer improved timetables, more connections to the wider public transport system and be actively involved in the continuous growth and development of the community, while working through a platform of continuous improvement to be recognised as the leader in its field of business.
